To capture the forms and details of the shot glasses, I began by experimenting with cutting out silhouettes on black paper and roughly illustrating the details in white. Although this provided for an intriguing manner to study the items, I realized that it was limited by the inability to reflect the textures and imperfections.

I determined that photographing the objects would be the best approach to effectively emphasize the intricacies of each item. In total, I captured over 40 different designs in varying contexts using the Canon Rebel T3i. I curated a selection of those images below.
